Synopsis:

Prim and pampered, Lucina Snow knew little of men and nothing of danger, until the fog-shrouded night she found herself abducted—and at the mercy of the legendary Captain Doom. Ruthless and mocking, tender and virile, the notorious pirate awakened all Lucy's passionate longings, then abandoned her with nothing but a kiss...Now safely at home, the alluring waif is tormented by treacherous memories—and by the presence of Gerard Claremont, her mysterious new bodyguard. Everything about him, from his forbidding size to his impertinent manner, sparks her defiance. And even when Gerard's smile turns seductive, no one can make her forget Doom. Yet only when Lucy's path crosses the captain's once more, will she learn who is on a voyage of retribution, and who is out to steal her heart...

My very first book from Teresa Medeiros...She made me enjoy pirate romances...and I haven't found another like this one...Wonderful!!! I loved Captain Doom ;)

Synopsis:

The job was a killer.
Living paycheck to paycheck in Paris, American book translator Chloe Underwood would give anything for some excitement and passion -- even a little danger. Then by chance Chloe discovers her employers are anything but the entrepreneurs they appear, and suddenly she knows far too much. Her clients are illegal arms dealers, and one of them is ordered to kill her. But instead, Bastien Toussaint drags Chloe away, and the next thing she knows she's on the run with the most terrifying and seductive man she's ever met. Synopsis:

Colonel Jake McAllister doesn't doubt that Maura Phillips has the qualifications and the know-how to handle a spot on his all-male, high-tech team at Elgin Air Force Base. As the test pilot in charge of top secret stealth weapons development, he's more worried about what's going to happen when her "free spirit" is introduced into the project's touchy pressure-cooker environment.

He'd been expecting to meet a buttoned-down engineer in a severe blue suit, which is why he's not exactly sure what to make of the leggy California girl with riotous curls, funky clothes and clunky jewelry who comes flying through his door. He soon concludes the lady is deadly serious about her job-and a deadly threat to his self-control.

One beautiful military romance...If you're looking for a romance like Harlequin romances this is a good choice...And it brings a bonus, the first chapter of a new story :)

Synopsis:
Paen Scott is a Dark One: a vampire without a soul. And his mother is about to lose hers, too, if Paen can't repay a debt to a demon by finding a relic known as the Jilin God-in five days. When he hires half-elf private investigator Samantha Cosse to help him, he sets her elf senses tingling. Which makes it pretty much impossible to keep their relationship on a professional level.
Especially since Sam is convinced that she is Paen's Beloved-the woman who can give him back his soul, whether he wants it or not...

I really thought that this book was going to be a good reading because I was in a mood for reading vampire romances after reading Twilight... But the fact is that it was a disappointement because I was expecting a book with more story from the characters...
