Product Description:

The daughter of a wealthy businessman, Jillian Kincaid grew up with bodyguards shadowing her every move-and she hated it. Now a TV anchorwoman, she refuses to let another hired thug follow her around. Not even when she begins to receive terrifying death threats. Not even when the bodyguard is the darkly seductive Nolan Garrett...

Trained in Special Ops, bodyguard Nolan Garrett has been hired by Jillian's father to keep her out of danger. But it's clear from the start that Jillian isn't going to make his job easy. Far from the spoiled princess he expected, Jillian is tough, independent, and totally sexy. And she's fighting him every step of the way.

As Jillian's stalker raises the stakes, Nolan must keep her close if he wants to keep her alive. But being so close can only turn up the heat that's been simmering between them-a heat that could explode into passion at any moment...

After having read Anne Stuart books about special agents and secret organizations I wanted to read something of the same genre...but i'ts an impossible thing...Anne Stuart is Anne Stuart.

Ex-Ranger Nolan Garrett is a haunted man... He had lost the will to work and live ever since he came back from the war. Having lost one of his friends he can't stop blaming himself for not having seen that he needed help.
Then we have Jillian Kincaid, who is a journalist and the daugther of a rich man, is being stalked by someone that wants her dead. Because of that her father decides to get her a bodyguard.
Because of the request of his siblings, Nolan is forced to accept the job. At first he doesn't stand Jillian but then he realises that she is not the person he thought she was. And that is when the chemistry between them gets hotter...

Book Description:

Rule #1: Never get involved with someone who won't be there for you when the sun comes up.

Once bitten, twice shy, and sexy PI Jackie Morrisey wasn't going there again. Vincent Argeneau may be the hottest guy she's ever met, living or dead, but she's here to stop a killer from turning this vampire into dust, not to jump into bed with him.

Rule #2: Never kiss a vampire . . . it can be a pain in the neck.

Okay, so Vincent's had four hundred years to perfect his kissing skills, and he does look rather tempting when he runs around the house shirtless. He's also charming, protective . . . did we mention he can kiss? Jackie needs to be on her guard, or else she'll have to come up with a new rule: If you're going to fall in love with a vampire, make sure it's a bite to remember.

******

Well, I've always liked vampire stories. When I began my aventure through Bookmooch I was caught in new stories, like this one.

This is not only about the romance between the main characthers but also about a solving crime. The Argeneau family bring's us a new kind of stories about vampires. I didn't even knew that vampires could eat!

We meet Private Investigator, Jackie Morrisey who was hired by Vincent's cousin to protect him because there was someone who was trying to kill the sexy Vincent. After having been seduced and betrayed by a vampire when she was younger Jackie didn't felt so ar ease working with Vincente, specially when she has attracted to him.

Vincent wasn't very happy at the beggining to work with Jackie because she wasn't a vampire ans specially because she was a woman. But the real reason was that he was attracted to her. She makes feel things, wish for things that he tought that weren't possible...

And then he finds out that Jackie is his soul mate...and then she almost dies saving his life...

If you're into dark, suspenseful romance you will love it.

But Isobel's past and present are about to collide when Serafin, mercenary, assassin and the most dangerous man in the world, makes a deal with The Committee. But Isobel knows all too well that looks can be deceiving . . . and that's what she's counting on to keep her cover in this international masquerade of murder.

*********
What a book...Wonderful!! there's lots of action, suspenseful twists and turns, and the characters just suck you into the story with both hands.

This is the story of Isobel Lambert, The "Ice Queen". She is the head of the Committee,an organization devoted to keeping our world from destroying itself...She has learned to be hard and capable of keeping a tight reign on her emotions. No one knows her true name or her real age or even anything about her.

And then there’s Serafin, known to Isobel as Killian, is a mercenary, assassin and the most dangerous man in the world...Isobel thought that she had killed him seventeen years ago and you can imagine her astonishment finding that he is alive...and that she still loves him.

This is the fourth book in the Ice series, and you meet up with Bastien (Black Ice, first book) and Peter (Cold as Ice, second) again. I was very happy to see them again. This way we can have a glimpse of what their lifes are now after all they had been through before they stopped working as mercenaries for The Commitee.
This romance is very hot...I highly recommend it.
